My Impossible Goals

Aku baru saja menonton video dari salah satu Study-Tube favoritku: Unjaded Jade. Biasanya dia membagikan tips belajar, motivasi, dan tips-tips produktivitas lainnya. Lalu, aku menonton videonya tentang impossible goals. Dia dulu pernah menulis impian-impian tidak mungkinnya berupa mengawali Youtube, diundang ke TV, keliling banyak negara, dll. Bahkan di video yang dipublikasi dua tahun lalu itu dia menyebut bahwa dia ingin menulis buku dan mempublikasikannya. Sekarang, buku Jade Bowler tentang study tips sudah terbit dan menjadi Best Seller.

Well, sebenarnya aku sudah pernah menulis impossible goals-ku di buku harian. Namun, aku jarang membuka buku-buku harian lagi dan lebih suka mengetik di blog atau Notion. Tulisanku juga sangat regres, sekarang jelek sekali. Kata Mamakku bahkan lebih tidak bisa dibaca dibandingkan dengan tulisan adekku (fyi, tulisan adekku sudah jelek sekali). Jadi lebih baik diketik saja dan mungkin dipublikasikan(?).

Kenapa harus dipublikasikan? Sama seperti tulisan-tulisan lamaku yang bercerita tentang kesedihan dan kebahagiaan, aku ingin tulisan ini menjadi saksi dari proses perjalanan kehidupanku. Well, sekarang, tulisan-tulisan lamaku itu bisa aku baca kembali sambil tersenyum. Dulu sesedih itu, ya? Dulu pernah sebahagia itu, ya? Dulu pernah menulis impian-impian ini, ya? (OMG, syukur-syukur impossible goals ini nantinya bisa jadi kenyataan)

Professional Goals

1.      Give a Tedtalk

2.      Write books and publish them

3.      Write children books

4.      Write poem books

5.      Be an editor in a big publisher such as Gramedia

6.      Make a professional blog (maybe buy domain for this blog)

7.      Be a journalist

Education

1.      Student-exchange to Europa/New Zealand/US

2.      Graduate with cum laude

3.      Take a magister in Leiden/Utrecht University

4.      Be a lecturer in Universitas Indonesia

Living

1.      Move to Nederland and live there for three years (or more. It can be forever too if possible)

2.      Have a property in the country side of England

3.      Buy a house in Bali

4.      Build a palace in Banyuwangi (European architecture with a little bit of Ghibli touch)

5.      Build a green house

6.      Make a garden with thousands of roses with climbing rose on its wall

7.      Have a private library who has thousands of books from many countries too. Maybe collect some of incunabulas

Travel

1.      Visit West Europe under 25 y.o

2.      Visit New Zealand

3.      South and North Africa!

4.      USA (ofc, babe)

5.      Some countries in Asia: Japan, Korea, Mongolia, and all South-East Asia

6.      Visit North Europe (go to Santa Village in Lapland Finland or go to Jona’s House in Sweden and buy some jewelries!)

7.      Mekka and Media (I’m sorry to put it at the end because everyone have this goal, ya kan?)

Skills

1.      Design my own clothes

2.      Be good at digital drawing with Procreate

3.      Good at design (because so many companies need this skill! They find people who ‘jago desain’)

4.      Be able to speak more than seven languages (now: Javanese, Osing. Indonesia, English, and a little bit of Dutch—it still on process tho. Maybe I can add Japanese, Deutsch, Korean, Arabic, and French)

5.      Good at riding (both motorcycle and car (maybe truck too if this possible?))

Family

1.      Develop my family farm (want to pay two/more people to take care of it because terlantar banget even though just a kebun yang not too large)

2.      Have a dairy farm

3.      Have three cute children who have an obsession of books like me.

That’s very many hahahah.

“Jangan mimpi lu!”

“Yang sederhana saja mimpi-mimpinya.”

“Tukang ngibul.”

I know if you—my reader—maybe have some kind of thoughts like what I mentioned before, but really, the tittle is “impossible goals”. Just make it fun (but well, I still want to fight for them to be real).
